Lenny Kravitz Cancels Tour Dates in Asia, Australia
Lenny Kravitz canceled tour stops in Asia and Australia due to scheduling issues, Billboard reports.
The 50-year-old rocker was expected to begin the 10-date jaunt next month with four shows in Japan, followed by stops in the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. He also pulled out of three dates in Australia, starting with a headlining set at Bluefest on April 2.
“Unfortunately, due to contractual scheduling conflicts beyond my control I will not be able to come to Australia to perform,” Kravitz wrote on Facebook. “I have been looking forward to coming to play for my fans and I'm deeply sorry that my concerts had to be canceled. My ability to come and play for you is a huge concern to me and while I am unable to confirm another time right now, I’m looking forward to rescheduling to perform in Australia as soon as I can.”
Although Kravitz had to nix Asia and Australia, he’s still locked into some upcoming shows Stateside, including the SunFest in West Palm Beach, Fla., kicking off April 29.
