Lil Wayne Storms Off Stage After DJ Plays Wrong Song

Weezy loses cool during show in Florida.

Lil Wayne and his DJ were not on the same page during a performance last night at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. After several mix-ups, Wayne got annoyed and even had the crowd chime in on the turntablist, chastising him as he had the them scream, “DJ, what the f*** you doing?”

The mess-ups apparently became too much for the Young Money boss when the DJ played the wrong version of “CoCo.” With no disrespect intended to O.T. Genasis, Wayne wanted his remix version from his latest mixtape, Sorry 4 The Wait, to play on cue as he went into his own song over the beat. That turned out to be the last straw as Weezy stopped the show, threw the mic at the DJ and exited stage left.

It's not clear if this was Wayne’s regular tour DJ, but the two were clearly not in unison. This has been an interesting week for the Weezy because the MC was also swatted with a prank call and had SWAT teams at his door.
