The Writer of Rihanna's New Song 'BBHMM' Revealed

She's 20, from Berlin, and someone owed her money... kinda.

Rihanna's newest single, "BBHMM," has been out for about two weeks and has climbed the charts leaving quite an impression on listeners. Today, besides having a young rapper named Just Brittany claiming that the song was jacked from her, the woman behind the song's lyrics has been revealed.
The writer is a 20-year-old woman from Berlin named Bibi. The inspiration was simply people not having the money they owe her. According to her new interview with Noisey, she went in the studio with Roc Nation producer Deputy, felt ratchet and laid the song down in about three hours. The rest is history.

She said that at the time she and Deputy just wrote the song with Rih in mind, but they weren't sure that she'd ever hear it.
"It took us forever to get it to her, and when she did hear it, she thought it was cool. I’m an artist first and foremost, you see? The only songwriting projects I’ve ever had are Rihanna," she said. "And, to be honest, she’s the only person I really cared about writing for. She liked my songs and the things I was doing, because I love to make music. And she picked them."
The 411 on Bibi is that she was born and raised in Berlin, so that accounts for her swag and the fabric of who she is. It should also be noted that her father is a professional musician and that she's been a songwriter since she was 16.
And when it comes to the reason why she writes (and sings), Bibi had this to say.
"I’m an artist not a songwriter. Mentally, at heart. I don’t write songs to be on a record, I don’t write songs to be sold. I do it to pour my heart out, whether I’m in pain or totally happy."
