Kanye West Performs at TIME 100 Gala

Yeezy runs through several hit records during action-packed set.

The TIME 100 gala started on a somewhat awkward note for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian on Tuesday night.

While the couple were walking on the red carpet outside of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, they fell victim to a prank when fellow honoree Amy Schumer purposely fell at their feet. Kardashian smirked but West walked right by, seemingly not amused.

Once inside Lincoln Center, though, Yeezy ripped through his hit records as part of an action-packed 20-minute set. Ye performed everything from his recent singles "All Day" and "Only One" to "Black Skinhead," "New Slaves," "Blood on the Leaves" and "Runaway" before blessing the crowd with classics such as "Good Life," "Gold Digger" and "Touch the Sky." Several shirtless men covered in white chalk stood behind West as he performed.

"Craziest performance ever tonight at the Time 100 Gala," Kardashian wrote in a caption accompanied by a shot of her husband performing.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were among the people named in TIME's annual 100 Most Influential People in the World issue.
