Boosie Badazz Says He's a Pro at Instagram Now
Boosie Badazz was the special guest on The Breakfast Club and he had plenty to talk about: Instagram flings, his new album, Touchdown 2 Cause Hell, police brutality and much more.
The Baton Rouge rapper was sentenced for eight years in prison for a drug conviction and probation violation. Before that, he was charged for first-degree murder and faced life in prison if convicted, but was found not guilty. During that time away, Boosie missed a lot of big moments in pop culture — including Instagram.
“Oh, I’m a pro now,” he tells DJ Envy. “I love Instagram, ya heard me!,” referring to the amount of women that are flocking his DMs now. “Most of them DM me. I get crazy DMs. I’m a DM king!" [Laughs.]
One of the earliest posts on his Instagram account (@officialboosieig) was of his daughter when he was officially coming home in March of 2014. The viral video showed her excitement. “Told y’all he coming home today! Y’all better believe it! The streets is here.”
Throughout the interview, Boosie spoke about his desire to have more kids (twins someday), his name change and other fun topics. Watch the full interview below.
