Police have reason to believe that Lil Wayne's tour bus was shot up over the weekend due to a dispute he had inside an Atlanta club. Law enforcement is now looking into what happened at the Compound Nightclub hours before someone fired at the rapper's tour bus.

Sources told TMZ that Weezy had a heated exchange with several audience members at Compound, although it's unclear what sparked the argument. The dispute led to club security removing those crowd members from the nightclub and Wayne got extra protection, when leaving the spot.

Still, Weezy's tour bus was shot at and police think the culprits might be the same people who got into the dispute with the rap superstar. No injuries were reported.

They continue to investigate, but as of yet, police don't have any suspects.
