T-Pain Debuts Mini-Documentary Film, Bigger Than Pain

Worldstar Hip Hop Films produced the doc.

T-Pain wants to be remembered for doing more than just getting by. To prove just that, the rapper took the WorldStar Hip Hop cameras along on the U.K. leg of his 2014 tour to show just how much he puts into his craft.

In a press release issed exclusively to BET.com, Bigger Than Pain in described as a 40-minute mini-documentary that "follows the career of T-Pain from the U.K. leg of his 2014 I Am T-Pain concert tour to his creative life off stage." The clip also gives insight into the two-time Grammy winner's journey to success, scoring more than 50 top 10 singles, and his pitfalls.

"I don't do this s**t for the check," the Tallahassee singer/rapper tells his crew in the doc. "I did this s**t for nine years before I got one cent out of it. No matter what I do, even if I fail completely, I got a higher passion for this."

WorldStar Hip Hop firmly believes in the "I'm Sprung" crooner's talent, with its CEO, Lee "Q" Q'Denat, singing Pain's praises. "T-Pain is a prolifically talented musician that has and continues to greatly influence popular music," Q'Denat said. "In the doc, Pain gives himself straight, no chaser and in the process reveals someone many can relate to when it comes to making it in this world. We are excited that WorldStar will be the platform to share a part of his fascinating story with Bigger Than Pain."
