Las Vegas police issued a press release announcing that Brown was being investigated yesterday, after the alleged early-morning fracas. Unsubstantiated reports claimed that the victim was fellow R&B crooner Jeremih, a rumor that the “Don’t Tell 'Em” singer has not addressed.

Brown’s rep however issued a statement clarifying that her client was not involved in any altercation. “An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises,” she said of the alleged incident at the Palms Hotel.

Putting the potential battery charge to rest comes just in time for Brown’s 26th birthday, which is today.
