Mariah Carey Returns to the Billboard Music Awards After 17 Years
Mariah Carey announced she will be performing at the Billboard Music Awards later this month.
The 45-year-old singer hasn’t performed at the show since 1998. But after the announcement of her new recording contract with Epic Records and her forthcoming greatest hits album, #1 to Infinity, she’s been actively making her presence known again in music. She also has a Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which begins on May 6.
Carey joins Britney Spears, Iggy Azalea, Nick Jonas, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Kelly Clarkson and more who are slated to make an appearance. The awards show will be hosted by Chrissy Teigen and Ludacris and airs on May 17 on ABC.
