Rich Homie Quan took a turn in The Breakfast Club’s hot seat this morning to discuss everything from his music to his favorite author.
To start though, RHQ once again apologized for leaked rape lyrics. Quan says he was simply being young and dumb when he recorded the 2-year-old song. “It wasn’t even supposed to leave the studio… I apologized for it, that ain’t what I’m on,” said Quan.
He also explained the situation with Birdman and stated that he was never signed to Cash Money, although he was affiliated with the Rich Gang. Quan and Birdman are still on speaking terms, but the Atlanta rapper says he’s rolling solo these days.
As for the literary portion of the interview, Quan revealed that he's a bookworm whose favorite author is James Patterson. “I read more than I do anything. I picked up reading from jail, I graduated with a 3.2 [GPA], so I could always read, but it’s a difference between reading and understanding.”
