Drake and Madonna used to be friendly enough to swap spit, now they’re on the rocks. Not that they were dating to begin with, but the Toronto rapper dissed Madge at the Houston kickoff of his Jungle Tour last night by replacing her with Rihanna — in song.
It happened while Drake was performing “Madonna,” off If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. Instead of the “You could be big as Madonna” line, Drizzy crooned “You could be big as Rihanna,” and the crowd cheered in approval.
The 28-year-old has shouted RiRi out in his performances before, Madonna, on the other hand, scored her first official Drizzy diss last night. A subtle dose of shade never hurts though, plus RiRi said she wanted to be the "Black Madonna," so maybe Madge should take this one as a compliment.
Either way, the 56-year-old Material Girl should’ve expected a retaliation shot from October’s Own, being that she dissed him after their infamously awkward “Coachella kiss.”
