Young Thug fooled around with naming his next mixtape Carter V, after the signature series of albums from Lil Wayne.

Is Thugga now using imitation to also flatter Gucci Mane? Thug took to his Instagram account Sunday and posted a shot of him sporting what appears to look like a similar ice cream tattoo that Gucci infamously inked on his face. 

"#Freeguwop I LOVE AND MISS U!!" Thugga wrote in the caption accompanying the image.

While the Internet started immediately buzzing about the seemingly-extreme lengths that Thug was willing to go to pay homage to Guwop, Thugga's fiancée , Jerrika, tried to shut down the hype by saying the ink is not real.

"It's a kiddie tattoo that I put on him," Jerrika told VladTV.

Whatever the case may be, there's no doubting that Young Thug is no stranger to creating controversy.
