T.I. Thinks It Was a Good Idea for Iggy Azalea to Cancel Her Tour

Grand Hustle boss says the Great Escape jaunt "took a little longer to put together than she anticipated."

No matter what drama surrounds Iggy Azalea, T.I. has been a substantial support system — even if that means standing in front of the public firing squad in her honor.

Just like Tip played defense when the culture-vulture critiques almost swallowed up her career, the Grand Hustle leader is again supporting his Aussie protégé in nixing her first major tour. He said it was a good idea during a talk with TMZ Live, yesterday.

The Atlanta rap star touched on Azalea's tour troubles, while promoting the new season of his reality show, T.I. & Tiny:The Family Hustle"I believe it took a little longer to put her show together than she anticipated," he said, calling the tour delay a "collective" decision between Azalea, Tip, and her team.

When the tour resumes is up to Azalea. "She's gonna have to make that decision when she's comfortable enough."

There’s also “no conflict” with the "Fancy" rapper, alongside an explanation of where she is currently. “Right now she’s focused on working on her music. I do believe that the music will precede the tour, I think that’s the best way, so when you have that performance you have current material to focus on.”
