Suge Knight’s lawsuits are really starting to pile up. A day after being sued in the fatal hit-and-run for which he’s currently incarcerated, a new lawsuit has been brought against Knight, and Katt Williams.
Leslie Redden is suing both men alleging assault, battery, and defamation, for an altercation at a Beverly Hills, Calif. studio last September. The lawsuit was filed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles Thursday, and states that Knight threatened Redden, for taking a photo of him when his young son was around.
Knight yelled at Redden to stop taking photos before angrily charging towards her, the suit states. In a recording from that day, Redden can be heard saying that she wasn’t snapping the child, but Knight calls her a “b*****,” and threatens to get another woman to beat her “motherf***ing a**."
Redden says Knight lifted his shirt to show his waistband, and defamed her by saying that she "engaged inappropriately" with his minor son, by taking pictures.
She fled the location “out of fear for her safety” when Williams “appeared from around the corner” with an unknown female, presumed to be his girlfriend. The woman allegedly knocked Redden down and took her camera, while Williams stood over her, demanding that she delete the photos.
Knight and Williams were arrested a month later for taking the camera. According to her suit, Redden was “severely hurt,” sustaining injuries to her neck, back, wrists, and suffering issues with her “health, strength and activity.”
She is seeking unspecified damages to cover future and past medical bills, in addition to emotional distress, embarrassment, mental anguish, and humiliation.
