There are plenty of stupid reasons to run for president — looking your way, Donald Trump — and we can think of many worse platforms than a love of Lil Wayne. That's precisely why Princess Khadijah M. Jacob-Fambro decided to throw her hat in the ring to become the leader of the free world: to propose to Weezy.
The San Francisco woman, who filed a candidacy form with the Federal Election Committee way back in 2012 (points for not procrastinating!), is one of the 366 contenders for the White House profiled in a New York Times article. Jacob-Fambro's application stood out in particular because it included a marriage proposal to Lil Wayne. In the section where she's supposed to name her committee, she wrote "from one alien to another...Lil Wayne WILL YOU MARRY ME?" and then claimed, "I am God."
Jacob-Fambro is running for the Revolutionary Party, naturally. For those snickering at her candidacy, a hard look at the 114th Congress tells us she would be far from the biggest joke on the beltway.
