Iggy Azalea: It's Become 'Cool' to Hate on Me

Iggy Azalea: It's Become 'Cool' to Hate on Me

Aussie rapper conducts Twitter Q&A to set the record straight, reveals details about new music.

Iggy Azalea has been the butt of jokes and criticism for years, but it is her most recent decision to scrap both her fall tour and PrideFest performance that has many deeming her career officially dunzo. In true I-G-G-Y fashion, the MC isn't taking the criticism lying down, clapping back at the claims in a Twitter Q&A with her fans.

This is a much more tender — and mature — approach to damage-control than we're used to from the "Fancy" gal. Refreshing.

After her compassionate words, the Aussie engaged with fans 140 characters at a time, answering questions that they had for their idol. When asked if she has any new music coming out, Iggy explained what really went down, and judging from her words, she's starting over from the ground up.

Now that she's axed her entire project that was said to be finished — for whatever reasons  — the sound of her new project is still up in the air.

While she may not have new music on the horizon, she has apparently been putting her efforts into creating a coffee table book... made entirely of pictures.

There you have it, folks. Hopefully, Iggy's music conundrum ends sooner than later.
