Report: YG Shooting Caught on Camera

Surveillance footage may help LAPD identify suspect.

It was recently reported that rapper YG was shot three times in the hip outside a San Fernando Valley recording studio. While the shooter is still on the loose, he may not get too far as, according to reports, the entire incident was caught on tape.

Sources told TMZ, there were multiple cameras outside of the apartment complex near the recording studio, which happened to be in the right position to catch the shooting on video tape. The studio surveillance also may have captured the happenings inside, where a fight broke out just before.

LAPD detectives reportedly have requested the footage and will receive it within one to two days.

The Compton MC is said to be recovering.
