Madonna Taps Beyoncé to Star in New Music Video
It seems like Madonna is cooking up something serious with her forthcoming visual for her latest Rebel Heart single, "B***h I'm Madonna." The pop icon has enlisted some of the biggest ladies in music for the music video including Queen Bey and the Queen Barb.
After months of murmurs and begging from fans, Madge confirmed the news this morning (June 16) via her Twitter page. The 56-year-old posted a promotional poster for the girl power clip with all of the ladies' faces plastered across it:
Though we still don't know the concept of the clip, judging from her previously released visual for "Ghosttown," which features Empire's Terrence Howard, it's sure to be cinematic, dramatic and well worth the wait.
Of the ladies listed to feature in the music video, Madonna has already worked with Nicki Minaj at the Super Bowl and music video for her 2012 hit "Give Me All Your Luvin';" Katy Perry on the cover of V Magazine; and Miley Cyrus during the young star's 2015 Grammy Awards performance. It would be interesting to see what she cooks up with fellow pop royal Beyoncé — we're sure it will to be grand, of course.
Many are dubbing Madge's A-list recruitments to be a "this is how it's done" to Taylor Swift, who released her bestie-starring music video for "Bad Blood" just a few weeks ago. Judging from just the lineup alone, it seems as if the Material Girl is winning.
In even better news, the music video is rumored to drop some time this week. So, Beyhive, Barbz and Katy Cats, are you ready to be slayed?
