Jay Rock’s album is really on the way.

TDE fans have gotten new projects from everyone in the camp except for Rock. The elder statesman of the crew was talking about his upcoming album with a slated release in 2014, but many assumed he was taking a hiatus to focus on his music when it didn’t come out. After Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith teased that his sophomore project was on its way, we started to see singles like “Parental Advisory” and “Money Trees Deuce” hit the Internet. Now, with a video for his latest song, Rock’s LP is looking like a reality this year.

In the video, Rock is taking us through his neighborhood and we get a real glimpse at how he hustled to survive. One scene in particular shows him enter a room with lottery tickets scattered all over the walls. It’s a reminder that you never forget when you get lucky and win some money during tough times.
