Louisiana Rapper Young Ready Shot to Death

No suspects have been identified yet.

Baton Rouge, La., MC and record label owner Young Ready — real name Shannen Hudson — was murdered in a shooting on Tuesday in Bogalusa. He was 31.

According to KPLC, the incident occurred shortly before 3:30 p.m. on the northern side of the city. Young Ready, who was the founder of Bow Entertainment, was not the only one killed in the shooting. Jare Stevension, a 28-year-old Baton Rouge native, was also slain.

The Washington Parish Coroner's Office reported that one victim died of a single gunshot wound and the other died of multiple wounds.

The local police department is currently investigating. No suspects have been linked to the shooting as of yet.
