Rihanna Kidnaps Fans in Los Angeles for 'BBHMM' Video Premiere

Another Tidal exclusive executed flawlessly.

Rihanna’s “B***h Better Have My Money” is a single that has exploded this summer — a hashtag (#BBHMM) with literally no boundaries. As it stands, RiRi has received a Platinum plaque for the song, but looking further than that, she’s been carrying out this bad gal attitude towards anyone who owes her cash money.

At the BET Awards, RiRi didn’t perform nor present an award, but she managed to still capture our attention. If you remember, she duct-taped Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s mouth shut (he probably owes her a couple racks) and threw her clutch purse at BET’s President of Programming Stephen G. Hill (It was all lighthearted fun — relax, Rihanna Navy.)

Last night, the 27-year-old Bajan singer dropped her video for “B***h Better Have My Money.” If you haven’t watched it, you better. It’s crazy, bloody, raunchy, sexy … we could go on.

This week may be all about Apple Music, but we can’t forget about Hov and Tidal. Rihanna, one of many artists representing the streaming service, promised a premiere of the video to Tidal subscribers and she stuck to her word. Lucky fans in Los Angeles received an email that read something along the lines of: “Rihanna = happiness. Tidal = greatness.” Cryptic, right? Well, her fans played along and were all loaded on a bus that drove to an undisclosed location. (Kind of like getting kidnapped, but not really.) From there, they were treated to a special screening of the video and even got to hang out with Rihanna too.

If you are a Spotify loyalist and weren’t able to attend, Tidal has put together a short recap video. Check it out below, and hopefully we’ll get to learn more about her upcoming album before the year ends. Cause we need that!
