Joe Budden Can't Handle Being Called Out By Omeeka

Slaughterhouse MC says Nicki Minaj's response to his shade was "disappointing."

Joe Budden started a fire, and now he can't handle the heat. The rapper is facing blowback after he shaded Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj on his radio show, and is disappointed with the couple's response.

"I f**k with her," Budden told AllHipHop. "I'm a Nicki fan. I'm a fan of Nicki. I f**k with her. I'm well documented in saying that I f**k with her. That's why it was a little disappointing. She's always come off a bit more well thought out. A bit more intelligent than that."

Budden also said that Meek Mill knew he just joking when he said the Philly MC had gotten too soft since he started dating Minaj, but retaliated on Twitter for the sake of his fans.

"I think Meek eventually understood that it was a joke, but at that point it's too late that you understand it because we live in a business where public perception is everything," Joe said. "If you have a million people in your mentions saying all this f**k s**t, you take that approach even if you know it is a joke."

"I am sure he knows that I don't have any issues with him," he added. "I'm positive that he knows that. But it's the show. It's the whole smoke and mirrors thing."

The beef started when Budden expressed his disapproval of Omeeka, and the effect the relationship was having on Meek's music and image.

"Part of my problem with that is that Meek's music is too hard," Budden said previously. "Meek's music is too hard for me to look at him with this f**king sappy f**k s**t. Be the hardcore guy that I'm sure she was attracted to at some point. It's nasty. I hate everything about it."
