50 Cent Claims to Owe $28 Million in Debt

He gives more details in a federal Bankruptcy Court filing.

50 Cent isn’t one of the richest rappers in the world after all.

According to the New York Daily News, 50 revealed all of his personal debts in a federal Bankruptcy Court filing Thursday night stating that he owes $28,478,920.075.

In the court documents, 50 listed Sleek Audio as one of the biggest creditor, a Florida firm that sued him for stealing their headphone design for SMS Audio. The judgement is worth $18,428,257.

The second biggest creditor is Lastonia Leviston, who sued 50 after he put up a private sex tape on the Internet that allegedly ruined her reputation. She won $5 million in damages and is set to receive more for punitive damages.

50’s other debts on a smaller scale include $1,737.33 that he owes to his grandpa and $137,880 to Bentley, an amount that stems from a car he leased. On top of that, he owes more than $1 million in legal bills.

Earlier this week, court documents stated that his personal assets do not exceed $15 million. It’s a strange number considering he has stakes in companies such as G-Unit, EFFEN Vodka, and Frigo underwear.
