After his tragic and untimely passing, friends of Ottun started the #DrakeNoticeJamal hashtag that quickly went viral and caught the rapper’s attention.
He sent a shout out to Ottun via Instagram yesterday afternoon.
Ottun, 17, attended Wallington Grammar County School and was an “exemplary student” with a big heart, according to the school’s headmaster, Jonathan Wilden. “He was a very generous individual,” said Wilden. “Always looking for the best in people and wanting to help them achieve great things.”
