T.I.: There Is No Equality in America

Rapper comments on Sandra Bland and police brutality.

T.I. sent a powerful message to his 3.4 million Instagram followers today. The Grand Hustle front man spoke out about the deaths of Sandra Bland, Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Freddie Gray and ongoing incidents of police brutality.

The rapper used an image of a white female protester yelling at an NYPD officer to convey the difference in outcomes between her outburst and Bland's death.

Justice, he says, is not something that will come easy in a country that lacks equality for all.

Several celebrities have been using social media to bring more awareness to Bland’s story, including August Alsina, Ava DuVernay and Taraji P. Henson.

Nicki Minaj spoke out on the 28-year-old's death, encouraging everyone to look into the story. “It’s the most disturbing thing going on right now," she wrote.
