Azealia Banks to Australia: 'You Guys Are Terrible Crowds to Play For'

Another day, another rant.

Azealia Banks is always down for a good ol' Twitter fight, but usually her social media brawls are limited to individuals. This time, she took a different approach — gotta keep things fresh — and decided to target an entire country: Australia.

It's the home of her music nemesis, Iggy Azalea, so it's not that surprising that it's not her favorite place in the world. After receiving what seemed like a compliment from an Australian fan, who congratulated the "212' MC for "completing her first ever full Australian concert" at last weekend's Splendour in the Grass festival, she went off the deep end criticizing Aussie concert-goers.

The digs didn't end there. She went on to let the folks down under know that they're out of the way for her and the money isn't always worth the lengthy trip.

Banks hasn't had the most positive experience in Australia as of late. Just last week, after tweeting how "beautiful" the country was, she followed up with a story of how a man at Gold Coast airport was attacking passersby with a knife.

Also in the past, she's had on-stage problems with Australian audiences. She dropped out of her show at Melbourne's Listen Out Festival in 2013 after performing for just 90 seconds after a beer was hurled at her on stage. The same thing happened during the Sydney leg of the event, causing her to leave early again.

Her unsettling past with the land down under goes beyond music as she labeled it "a notoriously racist country" last year during one of her infamous Twitter spats with Iggy Azalea.
