A new Bobby Shmurda track called” 3 Shots” dropped today, in time for the Brooklyn rapper’s 21st birthday. 

Shmurda is spending his born day behind bars, since he and GS9 affiliate Rowdy Rebel are still locked up for offenses involving weapons, conspiracy to commit murder, and drugs.

Nevertheless, Shmurda’s GS9 label home has debuted “3 Shots,” which features Rowdy, and rapper Chinx, who was killed a few months ago. 

The track is a solid listen, but you can’t help but wonder where Shmurda’s career would be if he wasn’t behind bars. Last July, “Hot N*gga” made the up-and-comer one of the game’s buzzing new rap stars (he even had his own dance, it doesn't get much bigger than that). 

Shmurda, a.k.a. Ackquille Pollard, has been in custody since December 2014. He was recently charged with new contraband and weapons charges for allegedly having his girlfriend sneak a knife to him. The Brooklyn rapper has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
