Rihanna has signed on for the next season of The Voice, NBC announced Thursday. The 27-year-old star will be an advisor to returning judges Pharrell Williams, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Gwen Stefani.
“We landed Rihanna to be the key advisor to all the coaches this fall,” said NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt during the Television Critics’ Association press event in Beverly Hills this morning. “This is one of music’s true supervisors coming on board to influence the lives and careers of the performers.”
Contestants can certainly learn a lot from Rih Rih, who has sold more than 100 million singles. Aside from being one the biggest artists in the world, the bajan artist stays true to her unique style.
Season 9 of The Voice premieres Sept. 21.
