Action Bronson Sued for Sampling Salsa Group

El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico says Bronson had no right to use their music.

Action Bronson got sued for sampling salsa music without permission, reports TMZ. Salsa group El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico allege that Bronson illegally sampled their songs “Falsaria” and “Trampolin” to make tracks “Monfongo” and  “Tapas, ” which appear on his Bon Appetit… B***h and Blue Chips mixtapes.

They also claim Bronson is profiting off their music, and inadvertently admitted to the crime in an interview last year. "I like to cook to Spanish and Latin music,” he said. “If you're in the kitchen ... I'd suggest bands like El Gran Cambo de Puerto Rico."

The group is suing for unspecified damages.
