Teyana Taylor Salutes the '90s on Her New EP

Last year, Teyana Taylor’s Def Jam debut, VII, successfully allowed her to step outside of Kanye West’s shadow.

Today, the G.O.O.D. Music first lady is giving us some relaxing vibes with The Cassette Tape 1994. The five-track EP contains chill production by West, Da Internz and more. Teyana taps into her ‘90s inspirations to deliver flows that sound like vintage Left Eye or Missy Elliott. And though we also usually see Teyana rocking alongside rappers, she’s decided to feature one of the better basketball players turned MCs, Iman Shumpert.

Listen to the EP here, and look out for Teyana on the One Hell of a Nite Tour with Chris Brown, Kid Ink, Omarion and Fetty Wap
