Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift Are Besties Now

Former Twitter rivals open MTV VMAs with a duet.

Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift opened the MTV VMAs on Sunday night by making nice. The formerly feuding artists — remember their very public Twitter spat over this year's nominations? — performed together for the show opener, wearing coordinated red fringed outfits.

MUSIC STARS WHO ENTERED THE APP WORLD

Minaj kicked off the performance solo, singing her hit "The Night Is Still Young." A couple of minutes in, Swift elevated onto the stage and joined her. They then transitioned into Tay's chart-topper "Bad Blood" — an apt choice considering the beef between the two ladies just a few weeks ago.

There was even a moment towards the end of the set where Tay and Nicki were gazing into each others eyes. Looks like all that bad blood is washed away in a river of love now!

With Miley Cyrus, however, not so much. Nicki and the show's host had an awkward moment, when their media war almost came to a head on stage.

Cyrus managed to wrap it up with a "congratulations" to the MC, who picked up the Hip-Hop Video Award for "Anaconda."
