Fat Joe Passed on Signing Eminem...Six Times

The Terror Squad boss admits he has major regrets.

We all make bad decisions in life, but Fat Joe's may have cost him millions, not to mention a leading role in one of the biggest success stories in hip hop. The Terror Squad boss recently recounted passing on the chance to mentor Eminem — and not just once.
“I got so many regrets,” Fat Joe told South China Morning Post. “The biggest is that Eminem gave me so many demos – six different times he approached me and I didn’t sign him. Shame on me.”

That's putting it mildly! Thankfully, a guy named Dr. Dre thought Slim Shady had a bright future and took a chance on him. Em went on to become one of the top-selling rappers of all time, as well as among the most talented.
Joe, of course, hasn't been doing too badly himself, but we don't blame him for kicking himself over this one.
