In just over a month from now, fans will be able to get their hands a new J. Dilla album.
Dilla’s mother, in collaboration with Vintage Vibez Music Group, announced Dillatronic. The posthumous LP features more than 40 rare instrumentals showcasing the late producer’s electronic influence.
“I can smile in my heart, knowing my son’s work is being shared with the people as we planned before he passed,” Dilla’s mom, Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey, said in a statement. “I only share the best, and I only hope to continue introducing the world to the genius of J Dilla.”
Dilla passed away in 2006, though his legacy has been kept alive through the work of his mother. Yancey throws an annual birthday celebration in her son’s honor, which has expanded into Dilla Day Weekend.
The new album will be available in digital, CD and vinyl form, along with deluxe packages that include passes to the 2016 Dilla Day Weekend in Miami.
Dillatronic drops Oct. 30, you can pre-order the release here.
