50 Cent Signs a Two-Year Overall Deal With Starz
50 Cent’s Power is doing so well that Starz wants him to do more.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Starz has signed a two-year exclusive overall deal with 50 Cent. Under the contract, Fif and his G-Unit Film and Television banner will continue to develop new projects/shows. They will still serve as executive producers for Power.
"Starz has been the perfect partner to make Power the success that it is and I am looking forward to developing many more record-breaking series with them,” 50 said.
"Curtis is a wonderful hands-on producer and actor on Power and we look forward to expanding his roles behind-the-camera with Starz over the next two years,” Starz's managing director, Carmi Zlotnik, adds.
Season three of Power began in September. The show, under the watch of Courtney Kemp Agboh, has grown into Starz’s most-watched original series with an average of 6.8 million viewers.
