Future Pops Up at Drake's Austin City Limits Gig
Drake and Future are currently rap's favorite duo, so it's not a total surprise that the Dirty Sprite 2 rapper dropped in to give Drizzy a hand with his set at the Austin City Limits festival in Texas this weekend.
After Drake ran through a number of his radio hits, wowing the crowd with pyrotechnics, he invited his What a Time to Be Alive collaborator on stage to drop a few from their chart-topping mixtape. With Future scheduled to headline his own show at ACL Fest next weekend, this may not be the last we'll be seeing of these two on stage together.
The high point of Drake's performance, though, had to do with another rapper. When the 6 God broke into his Meek Mill diss track "Back to Back," he had the crowd chanting along to every word.
Could this mean the return of battle rap as we once knew it? We can hope.
