Iggy Azalea Crushes Rita Ora’s Dream of a 'Lady Marmalade' Remake

She doesn't think it's a good idea.

Fans aren’t feeling Rita Oras idea for a “Lady Marmalade” remake, and apparently neither is Iggy Azalea

Ora told the UK Sun that she’d love to cover Patty Labelles 1975 hit, that was remade by Christina Aguilera, Mya, Lil’ Kim and Pink nearly 15 years ago. Ora wanted Azalea, Charli XCX and Miley Cyrus in her version. “I’m trying to round up the troops,” the British singer said.

While Charli hopped on board, and Cyrus has yet to respond, Azalea quickly distanced herself from the very thought of a remake. “Please leave me out of the whole Lady Marmalade conversation,” she tweeted. “I have nothing to do with ritas [sic] ideas and agree it should be left alone. Thanks.”

Based on Twitter reactions, and Azalea telling her to pump the brakes, Ora might want to trash this entire idea.
