Maid Sues Dr. Dre for Unfair Treatment
Dr. Dre may have been forgiven for his abusive past, but another woman is saying he needs to run a tighter ship with his staff, too.
According to the NY Daily News, a housekeeper filed suit in Los Angeles this week, claiming that Billion-Dollar Dre is responsible for the bullying, anxiety, and physical pain she suffered while under his employ for 13 months; and what's worse, she was fired while in the hospital.
In the court docs, she says two other staffers, a pair of female cousins, were threatened by her skill level and gave her the brunt of the work (including some of their own duties). She was reportedly making a better-than-average $1,870 per week, however, it wasn't enough compensation for the "burning pain" in her neck, arms and back, as well as respiration issues she developed. Additionally, the Doc owes her for overtime, missed meals and vacation, she alleges.
Neither Dre nor his wife, who is also named in the suit, have responded as yet.
