Janet Jackson has no mercy when it comes to Instagram. Users have reportedly had their accounts deleted after posting video from Jackson’s Unbreakable tour.
According to TMZ, several accounts either had videos removed or were completely deleted for not complying with Instagram’s copyright rules. Jackson owns the rights to her music, and that includes fan-shot videos from her shows.
Jackson’s label, BMG, is said to be behind the take down. Instagram confirmed that "repeat offenders" were subject to deletion, but a bug caused other pages to get expunged. The company is in the process of reinstating accounts.
Some fans are so upset that they want to boycott Jackson until the matter is resolved.
