Yung Berg Hit With $100,000 Child Support Bill

Rapper loses default judgment after skipping court hearing.

An Illinois civil court found  Yung Berg responsible for nearly $100,000 in back child support. The former Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star caught a default judgment after missing a court date earlier in the week, Bossip reports.

Brandy Flint, the mother of Berg’s son, says the rapper "blatantly ignored the court order." Both Berg and his lawyer skipped the Oct. 19 hearing. "I shouldn’t have had to go after him," she said.

Berg’s official child support tally is at $99,386.75, and his $700 monthly child support order could be increased to reflect his current income. Added Flint, “We’ll see what the judge says. The only person he’s hurting is his child.”

The 29-year-old Chicago native has a lot going on in the legal department. Earlier this month, Berg, born Christian Ward, was offered a plea deal in the assault case involving ex-girlfriend and co-star Masika Tucker.
