Taylor Swift Files a Countersuit Against Radio Host Who Groped Her

If she wins, she'll donate any money to selected charities.

Taylor Swift has filed a countersuit against a former Denver radio personality who allegedly groped her during a 2013 meet-and-greet, according to a story on Billboard.

Swift is striking back with a countersuit demanding a jury trial against Dave Mueller. Back in September, Mueller was fired from his job for allegedly grabbing the singer’s buttocks backstage at the Pepsi Center on June 2, 2013. In his lawsuit against Swift, he denies engaging in any inappropriate contact with her.

Swift’s countersuit states that Mueller admitted she was sexually assaulted, but blamed it on his boss at KYGO radio station, Eddie Haskell.

"Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault — it was Mueller — and she is not confused in the slightest about whether her long-term business acquaintance, Mr. Haskell, was the culprit," reads the countersuit. "Resolution of this Counterclaim will demonstrate that Mueller alone was the perpetrator of the humiliating and wrongful conduct targeted against Ms. Swift, and will serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts."

Swift says if she wins the lawsuit, the money will be donated to "charitable organizations dedicated to protecting women from similar acts of sexual assault and personal disregard."
