Ariana Grande released "Focus," the first single from her upcoming album, early Friday, and many fans were immediately focused on trying to figure out who made a mystery vocal cameo on the track. During her first-ever live performance of the song, at the iHeartRadio theater in Burbank, she revealed the name behind the voice is none other than Jamie Foxx.
After performing six songs, including "Focus," in a Jack Skeleton-inspired costume, Grande sat down for an onstage Q&A. With prompting from the audience, the songstress finally admitted she worked with the Oscar and Grammy winner on the track.
And now that Donutgate is behind her, Grande seemed upbeat about her upcoming album Moonlight, due out in 2016. "It's the beginning of the next step," she said of "Focus," adding that, "It sounds like Problem's older sister."
