Wake Flocka Flame Calls for Backup in Record Label Battle

Wake Flocka Flame Calls for Backup in Record Label Battle

Rapper wants fans to "demand" album release.

Wake Flocka Flame is asking fans to help him fight a battle against Atlantic Records. As previously reported, Waka’s upset with the label for delaying Flockavelli 2, so a little backup couldn’t hurt.

The Atlanta rapper is already on the project’s second single despite label troubles. “F**K @AtlanticRecords holding my album up,” he frustratingly tweeted yesterday adding that the label is “hating on the kid heavy.”

Next, Waka tweeted out Atlantic’s phone number telling fans to “demand” that they unchain his album.

For the record, Waka has a right to be irritated being that his last LP dropped three years ago. Lupe Fiasco went through something similar with Atlantic and fans were able to help get the Lasers album released.

Waka's battle cry just might work even though fans are having trouble getting Atlantic to answer the phone.
