Young Thug, Metro Boomin Squash Beef, Drop New Song, 'Hercules'
It seems that Young Thug’s re-tweet of #RIPMetroThuggin is now obsolete.
Taking to Twitter late last night, Metro Boomin tweeted a picture of a squash and a link to “Hercules,” a new collaborative track presumably from their forthcoming project. Two hours later, he made sure to clear up rumors that it was all a manufactured beef.
“Never ever would I trade on my n*****,” he tweeted. “Ain't no publicity stunts. There was a real misunderstanding with real emotions but it's resolved. Thugger my brother 4 life #Hercules.”
Young Thug subsequently re-tweeted, adding, “ily 4life.”
The beef between the two artists almost became physical. On Wednesday Metro Boomin replied to Thug’s assertion he was being sub-tweeted by tweeting, “I’m in the city @ the spot right now bra and we know each other in REAL life so u can pull up whenever kuz u know I ain’t no hoe.”
No word yet on when MetroThuggin is slated to drop.
