Vince Staples: When Somebody Gonna Talk About Jesus?

Inside the "Lemme Know" rapper's hilarious Christmas rant.

If you’ve never had the pleasure of checking out Vince Staples's Twitter page, you’re missing out.

The Cali rapper has never been one to shy away from throwing out a controversial opinion, however when you think about what he’s tweeted, it isn’t all that off. Case-in-point, if you scrolled through his feed late last night, you sawhow he concocts a brilliant presence on the social media platform: one part keeping it real and another part troll.

First, he tweeted about people’s dedication to the actual religious premise behind Christmas and says most are only in it for the presents.

10 CLASSIC CHRISTMAS ALBUMS

“Christmas be having me hot with all this gift talk. When somebody gonna talk about Jesus? Since it is cuz birthday,” he tweeted. “I'm about to start handing out bibles to you n****s for Christmas. See who really anointed with the holy spirit.”

After that, he decided to have some fun with someone who came at him about his Christmas tweets. The Twitter user, who is from Washington, D.C., got a public bashing from Vince, who is a GOAT at clowning.

“Don't make me run for president just to put a government seizure on yo mamas house @TheFliestPlane,” he tweeted. “You seem hurt. You not half the man your mother was lmao @TheFliestPlane.” He then continued in a subsequent tweet: “Anyway, new Vince Staples Holiday Mixtape "Banned from DC" dropping Christmas Day. Hosted by @TheFliestPlane.”

It’s longer than that, so we’ve included more highlights below.
