Is Iggy Azalea’s Record Label Holding Her Back?

Rapper blocked from shooting "Azillion" music video.

Iggy Azalea’s new single won’t be getting the visual treatment. The rapper says her label blocked her from shooting a music video for “Azillion” because the reception to the buzz track “wasn’t good enough.”

Azalea dropped the details on Twitter last night. She says Virgin/EMI President Ted Cockle doesn’t like the song. “I feel like it was dope so, whatever” she tweeted. “Ted Cockle doesn’t wanna see me shine. What can I say.”

“Azillion” made it’s debut Jan. 9 and has racked up more than 880,000, but less than 10,000 “likes” from listeners. The track leads Azalea’s upcoming sophomore album, Digital Distortion
