Kanye West has a lot of time on his hands for someone who has an album dropping in less than a week — or maybe his recent online activities are part of the master plan to promote his upcoming record WAVES.
After causing an uproar over his comments about Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose this past week, 'Ye is back to tweeting harmless nonsense like this:
Though the image seems consistent with the Odd Future frontman’s sense of humor, it turns out this is just another bid by Yeezy to grab some attention. Rolling Stone quickly took to Twitter to say that the photo is not an actual upcoming cover, and just a clever use of Photoshop:
Kanye refused to accept that his hoax wouldn't magically turn into reality, though, and insists Rolling Stone should consider themselves lucky that he would make a fake cover of the magazine. He even put a poll in the field asking his followers if they should print it:
If you're dying to know, the poll came out 55% in favor of Yeezy. There are still eight days until WAVES comes out, so we doubt this is the last we'll hear from Kanye on Twitter this week.
In the mean time, revisit his headline-making beef with Wiz and Amber with BET Breaks, below:
