Brooklyn rapper Desiigner was an unknown until he dropped his semi-viral hit with “Panda” back in December. And eventhough he wasn’t on the radar of most he was known by someone very important. Kanye West.
Not only was he on ‘Ye’s new favorite rappers list, it looks like now he’s actually been signed to G.O.O.D. Music. During his Yeezy Season 3/The Life Of Pablo listening event at Madison Square Garden, Kanye announced that Desiigner is the newest member of his label.
If you listen to the songs "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1 & Pt. 2" – which also feature Travi$ Scott, Kid CuDi and Metro Boomin – you can hear Desiigner’s voice during the track. For those paying super attention to everything Kanye this week, the announcement isn’t a super shock as Hot 97’s Ebro made a congratulatory tweet about Desiigner signing to the label, but then quickly deleted it.
