French Montana already revealed that Kanye West didn’t know who Max B was until recently, however that didn’t stop ‘Ye from catching up on his research and even including him on his recently released The Life Of Pablo album.
What’s even more is it sounds like ‘Ye is even going beyond promoting the Wave God by trying to help him get out of prison. During a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, the Bronx-based rapper detailed Kanye’s involvement with his friend’s legal situation.
“We working on something,” French said. “I want to keep it under the raps until we put it together. We definitely been on the phone damn near every day trying to put something together for my boy."
He also preempted West’s assistance by saying he wasn’t at all offended that Kanye didn’t know who Max B was years ago. "I feel like it's dope when somebody do something and they don't even know they're doing it," he explained. "Like damn, my boy was really ahead of his time."
Also during the interview French Montana revealed that his forthcoming studio LP Mac & Cheese: The Album is slated for release next month. It’s been a minute since this series got an update. French dropped Mac & Cheese 4: The Appetizer in December 2014. More recently he dropped his Wave Gods mixtape, which features Kanye, Future, Nas, Travi$ Scott, Puff Daddy and A$AP Rocky.
