A$AP Rocky was reportedly attacked in a New Zealand elevator yesterday (February 24) after a dispute at his hotel.
According to TMZ, three men were waiting to ride the elevator at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland at around 3 a.m. but as Rocky, escorted by numerous women, got on the elevator and asked that no one else ride up with them, the men got mad and subsequently, the skirmish broke out.
Witnesses claim the men were chanting “F*ck A$AP” as they punched him in the face. Hotel security would eventually break everything up as police were also called. They would later apprehend one suspect, arresting him for assault and resisting police. Rocky later took to Twitter to respond to the fight rumors saying, “ASSAULTED? NI**AS GET SHOT EVERY DAY B, HA,” so it sounds like he’s OK.
A$AP Rocky is slated to perform at the Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park, New South Wales, Australia, Thursday night.
