Did Chief Keef Retire from Rap?

A recent tweets seems to indicate it.

Retirement rumors in hip hop are usually met with yawns and eye-rolling as often times rappers go back on their word when it comes to leaving the game.

Chief Keef recently made some news via Twitter when he said he was retiring (or already retired). When a user told him he was “way behind” on dropping new music, the Chicago native responded by saying he was out of the rap game.

“I'm retired you didn't know?” He tweeted. “To many n***as sound jus like me or saying sh*t like almighty would.” The announcement comes as a bit of a shock as Keef dropped two albums last year and didn’t seem like he was going to slow down for 2016. It’s also unknown as to whether he was joking.
